Privacy policy: what happens to your data, depending on what you do
Effective from 13 October 2026.
This policy covers the independent Lucky Capone information site for readers in the United Kingdom. It is organised by what a reader does on the site, because the data involved depends on the action. The editorial team behind the site is the controller for the personal data described here, and it can be reached at [email protected].
The site is not Lucky Capone. It does not open accounts, take deposits or hold payment details, so the data a player gives the casino when registering, verifying an identity or depositing is never passed to or through this site.
If you only read a page
Loading a page means your device sends a request, and the server that delivers the page receives your IP address, your browser type and the time of the request. Every web page is delivered this way. The site uses this technical data to deliver the page, to keep the service running and to deal with misuse, which is the legitimate interest it relies on.
Cookies are used only where the page needs them to work. Any cookie that is not needed is set only after you agree, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time in your browser settings. Reading the site does not require an account, a name or an e-mail address.
If you want to control cookies
Every mainstream browser lets you block, delete or limit cookies, and doing so does not stop you reading the site. Blocking the cookies that a page needs to work can change how that page displays, but the figures, tables and calculations on it remain the same. Agreement to any optional cookie can be withdrawn the same way it was given, by changing the setting in your browser or in the notice that asked for it.
If you write to the editorial address
A message to [email protected] contains whatever you choose to put in it: usually your e-mail address, your name if you give it, and the question or correction. That information is used to read the message, to reply and, where a correction is needed, to fix the page. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in answering readers, and a message that exercises a right is handled to meet the obligation to answer it.
The message is kept for as long as it takes to deal with your question and any follow-up. A correction request that leads to a change on a page is kept with a note of that change so that the same figure is not corrected twice. When a message is deleted at your request, your e-mail address and name go with it, while the note of the page change stays without any personal data in it. Please leave out anything the question does not need: card numbers, passwords and copies of identity documents are not requested by the site and should not be sent.
If you follow a link to Lucky Capone or another site
A link takes you to a different site with its own privacy practices, and from that moment that site handles the data you enter. This applies to any link to Lucky Capone. When a figure on these pages talks about verification, an identity document or a payment method, it describes what Lucky Capone asks for; the casino, not this site, receives those documents.
Security, access and automated decisions
Messages sit in the editorial team’s mailbox, and only members of that team read them. An ordinary e-mail is not encrypted from end to end while it travels, so sensitive details are best left out of a message. No decision about a reader is made by automated means, and the site does not build profiles of readers from what they write.
If a service provider handles data for the site
The site may use ordinary hosting and delivery services to run its pages. Where such a service handles personal data on the site’s behalf, it acts on instructions and not for its own purposes. If any of this processing takes place outside the United Kingdom, it is covered by safeguards that the UK data protection rules require, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
If you want to see, correct or delete what we hold
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict how it is used, to object to its use and, where it applies, to receive it in a portable form. Write to [email protected], say which right you want to use and name the address you are writing from, so the message can be traced to you.
If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Its website is https://ico.org.uk, its helpline is 0303 123 1113, and a complaint can be made there without going through us first.
If you are under 18
Gambling is for adults: the minimum age in Great Britain is 18. The site is written for adults, and the editorial team does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a child has written to the address can ask for the message to be deleted, using the rights described above.
If this policy changes
When the policy changes in a way that affects what is collected or why, the effective date at the top of this page changes with it. Small edits that only fix wording without altering what is done with data leave the date unchanged. The version you are reading is effective from 13 October 2026.
